EYE Lighting achieves signatory status with FluoroCycle

EYE Lighting was recently welcomed as a foundation signatory to the FluoroCycle scheme.

The FluoroCycle scheme grants public recognition to lighting industry members who voluntarily recycle all their waste lamps which contain traces of mercury. 

The aim of FluoroCycle is to reduce the number of mercury-filled lamps ending up as landfill. The scheme includes appropriate recycling of CFLs, HID and Linear Fluorescent tubes.

EYE Lighting promotes strong values towards recycling and sustainability within its internal culture and as a result is proud to be associated with the FluoroCycle sheme.

FluoroCycle is supported by the Australian Government and the Lighting Council Australia.
